Thank you for shopping with us! Because we sell live praying mantises, our return and refund policy is different from standard retail stores. Please read carefully before placing an order.
Live Animal Policy
Due to the sensitive nature of live insects:

All sales are final on live praying mantises

We do not accept returns or exchanges for live animals
However, we do offer support through our Live Arrival Guarantee (see below).
Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)
We guarantee that your mantis will arrive alive if all conditions are met:
To qualify:

You must select an appropriate shipping method for your weather conditions

Someone must be available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt

The package must be brought indoors immediately
-
You must contact us within 2 hours of delivery if there is an issue
Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy
If your mantis arrives deceased:
You must:

Contact us within 2 hours of delivery

Provide:
-
Clear photos of the mantis in its original container
-
A photo of the shipping label
-
-
Keep the mantis until we review your claim
If approved, we will offer:
-
A replacement (if available), or
-
Store credit, or
-
A refund (case-by-case basis)
Non-Live Items (Supplies & Accessories)
For items such as enclosures or supplies:

Returns may be accepted within 14 days of delivery

Items must be unused and in original condition
-
Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If you receive a damaged or incorrect non-live item:

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

Include photos of the issue
-
We will provide a replacement or refund at no additional cost
Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)
We do not offer refunds or replacements if:

Incorrect shipping method was selected

Delivery delays occur due to the carrier

The package was left outside or unattended
-
Incorrect address was provided
-
Care requirements are not met after delivery

You fail to contact us within the required time frame
Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase if they have not yet shipped

Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled
