Shipping Policy and Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)

We take great care in safely packaging and shipping our praying mantises to ensure they arrive healthy and stress-free.

 

Shipping Information

  • Processing Time:
    Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.

  • Shipping Days:
    We ship Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend delays that could harm live insects.

  • Shipping Methods:
    We offer:

    • UPS Priority 2 day shipping

    • UPS Priority Express (overnight, recommended for extreme weather)

  • Weather Considerations:
    We monitor temperatures carefully. If temperatures are below 40°F or above 90°F in your area, we may delay shipping or require you to upgrade shipping for the safety of your mantis.

Packaging

All mantises are:

  • Securely housed in breathable containers

  • Packed with insulation when needed

  • Shipped with heat or cold packs depending on weather conditions

Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)

We guarantee that your praying mantis will arrive alive under the following conditions:

To Qualify for the Guarantee:

  1. You must select an appropriate shipping method for your climate (Priority Express recommended in extreme temperatures).

  2. Someone must be available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt.

  3. You must bring the package indoors immediately upon delivery.

  4. You must contact us within 2 hours of delivery if there is an issue.

In the Rare Event of DOA (Dead on Arrival)

If your mantis arrives deceased:

  1. Email us within 2 hours of delivery

  2. Include:

    • Clear photos of the mantis in its original container

    • A photo of the shipping label

  3. Do not discard the mantis until we respond

Resolution Options:

  • Replacement (if available)

  • Store credit

  • Refund (case-by-case basis)

Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)

The Live Arrival Guarantee is void if:

  • Incorrect shipping method was chosen for weather conditions

  • Delivery was delayed due to carrier issues beyond our control

  • Package was left outside for an extended period

  • Incorrect address was provided

  • You fail to contact us within the required time frame

Additional Notes

  • We are not responsible for issues occurring after the mantis has been successfully delivered alive.

  • Please research proper care before purchasing.
